Batteries....

I had great intentions of doing a new post tonight showing my recent endeavors, but when I went to hook the camera up to the USB, my batteries died! Stupid, stupid batteries. I've been procrastinating and then this happens, go figure!
So stay tuned - I'll be posting multiple times once I'm all charged up again. - With Batteries and Ambition :) I've got some fun stuff coming up that I'm so excited to share!
Hooray for warm, sunshine-y days! It's amazing what good weather does for me. I feel like myself lately so I've got lots of projects lined up that I'm totally anxious to work on! Beware, if you come to our house, you'll be assaulted with dust and paint fumes.
More coming soon!

  1. Hi Lindsay,
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and thanks for the comments. The wooden letter was very easy. Wal-Mart doesn't sell them anymore, so I had to go to Joanns to get it. They have a really big variety of different fonts and sizes. I just placed the letter on top of the paper, traced around it, then cut it out and glued it on using elmers glue. It was a little thick, so next time I'll probably water it down just a tad. Then after it was all done I sanded around the edges really good using a soft sanding block (i think that's what it's called). But you could just use regular old sanding paper, too. This just cleans up the edges where the paper hung over the edges a little bit. That's all. Oh... and I did paint the edges of the wooden letter before I glued the paper on. Maybe we should all get together one day and make some letters. I have a cute idea that I want to do in my family room... I want to spell out "S-I-M-P-L-----F-Y". Notice the "I" was left out - I want to do a topiary in place of it. Cute, huh? Well, sorry for the novel that I just left as a comment. But I'm serious about getting together to make letters!
